IInd Fieragricola-Veronafiere Journalism Award
Sustained by traditions dating back to 1898, across-the-board dedication to all sectors of agriculture and the close attention to the development dynamics on an international scale, Fieragricola is an occasion for comparisons between the protagonists in a sector called upon to tackle the need for rational yet at the same time sustainable growth.
Also in the 2016 edition, Veronafiere seeks to highlight the important role that journalists and communicators play in promoting the prerogatives of agriculture, one of the fundamental sectors of the European and international economy.
Organized by Veronafiere on the occasion of the 112thedition of Fieragricola, the award is established with the aim of promoting agriculture and innovation in the primary sector as cornerstones of the Fieragricola Show in Verona and thereby enhance public awareness of the agricultural sector itself, including the state of the art and future prospects.
The award aims to reward professional style and expertise, competence, rigour, brevity, completeness of content, clarity of locale and ability to disseminate news.
The award has received the patronage of ENAJ - The European Network of Agricultural Journalists - which includes national organisations of journalists and media communicators in the agricultural sector in 18 European Union Member States.
