Fieragricola and DB-ÖBB EuroCity trains renew their partnership

Sustainable mobility from Austria and Germany to Verona

Agreement signed with a view to the international agricultural exhibition

Fieragricola confirms its partnership with DB (German Railways) and ÖBB (Austrian Railways) to facilitate travel by train from Germany and Austria to Verona during the event (Wednesday 3 - Saturday 6 February 2016).

The agreement between Veronafiere and the German and Austrian Railways follows up the success of the previous edition in 2014. In particular, trains help reduce the impact of CO2 emissions compared to cars or aeroplane and take travellers right into the heart of the city.

Here below it is possible to download the routes and train timetables: 5 pairs of trains per day to and from Verona serving the Porta Nuova Railway Station with one train every 2 hours. Children under 14 years of age, if accompanied by a parent or a grandparent, travel free.

Prices on offer start from 9 euros
(limited n° of places, one way and per person in Italy)

Some carriages are also set up to transport bicycles, so that visitors attending Fieragricola also have the chance to enjoy excursions not only to farms near the city but also in nearby areas such as Valpolicella or Lake Garda.

2016 TIMETABLE - DB-ÖBB EuroCity

Fieragricola is now at its 112th edition and confirms its crossways vocation by strengthening not only its sections focusing on mechanisation (all top brands will attend the international agriculture exhibition) but also those dealing with animal farming and renewable energy - not to mention the halls highlighting vineyards and orchards. The outside dynamics areas will also be expanded. Fieragricola will also be held in conjunction with Greenspacesexpo - Build Gardens, Urban Green and Landscapes – the new Show organised by Veronafiere dedicated to nurseries and the landscape with the aim of highlighting the impressive quality of Made in Italy even in “green” sectors.
